New Residence Project
All the information about the new 2160 square foot house with attached garage to accommodate residents plus respite services.

How much will it cost?
The project's estimate cost is $750,000 and none of this cost will be covered by Government funding. It is completely funded through donations, fundraising and grants. Once the new residence is built, the existing building will be a much needed source of revenue, either as a rental unit or through its sale.
Donation total to date:
over $60,000
Where will it be located?
The new residence will be located on the other side of the lot that the current residence sits on.
When will construction begin?
Construction is set to begin in the spring of 2025. The process is starting on May 20th with the sod turning ceremony!

Why do we need it?

As years pass our current home no longer meets the needs of the people living there and must be upgraded to comply with government standards. Our current home prevents our client’s from moving comfortably, safely, and freely throughout. Our new residential home will be designed to be zero barrier (single floor, large bathrooms/bedrooms, open concept, etc.). This will allow our families’ loved ones to age in place as they require more care and support, thereby eliminating any hardship associated with having to be moved to a nursing home. The most pressing issue with the existing structure is that the regulations have changed, and we are needing to add in a sprinkler system by 2026. With the existing issues and the opportunity for growth in our community, we have decided that it would be best for all to build new.
How can you help?
